In 1908 the firm expanded to the Vale Works in Longton and the Vale trade name began to be used. Later after the royal visit of King George IV and Queen Mary to the Vale Works Royal Vale was officially used. This item is a fine porcelain tea trio consisting of the tea plate, saucer and matching tea cup, with the tea plate designed in the squared shape and all three items
