Study, Bliss Autumn Somewhere Down the Crazy RiverThis moment comes from the Great Smoky Mountains in East Tennessee. Weve had dry conditions for much of the past couple of autumn seasons. The resulting low water levels along the rivers have revealed boulders that are normally tucked beneath the roaring cascades. I liked the juxtaposition of the rough textures in the rocks against the colorful trees. When Im outside to paint on beautiful days like this, it is, indeed, pure bliss. This is the second
